I tested the Pioneer XDJ-R1 and it's a capable all-in-one unit. The 2 decks, 8 pads, and built-in effects like flanger and reverb give solid performance. Wireless streaming is handy, and it works with Virtual DJ. At $800, it's a serious investment. The 24-bit sound quality is good, but the sampling rate is limited to 44.1 kHz. Overall, a reliable controller for mobile DJs.
