The XDJ-RX3 is a great upgrade from the RX2. The larger touchscreen is a game changer for track browsing and waveform display. The jog wheels feel solid and the mixer section is intuitive. I like the dual USB ports for back-to-back sets. However, it's limited to 2 channels, so if you need 4 decks, you'll need to look elsewhere. It's also a bit heavy for its size, but still manageable. The sound quality is excellent and the effects are useful. For the price, it's a fantastic standalone unit.
